It was date night for my wife and I and we decided to go to Park Place Restaurant and Bar on Covert Ave., in the town of Stewart Manor. I have wanted to give this place a try and I am thrilled that I did. As soon as we walked into this place things seemed just right. We were nicely greeted and tended to immediately. There was a tall table near the front window with bar style chairs that looked inviting, so we asked to sit there. The atmosphere of this place was perfect. Our waitress was kind and patient. As we decided on what beer to drink she was able to provide us with suggestions and give us a taste before we ordered. While we decided to order we munched on some fresh hot bread that was so good it was addicting so we asked for another basket.  For an appetizer we order the tuna tartar tacos.   The tacos were simply amazing. The tuna was fresh and melted in your mouth.  The guacamole was also tasty and fresh.  For dinner I had one of the specials, a full rack of ribs.  These ribs were fantastic! These were some of the best ribs I ad ever tasted at a restaurant.  My wife had the braised short ribs that were also delicious.  The prices were fair and the portions were large.  I would certainly recommend this place to anyone.  Check it out and enjoy!
